Grief Stories Experience

  • Participants will be invited to reflect on the stories they hold about grief

  • Participants will explore grief stories that are commonly offered by dominant culture

  • Participants will be invited to explore personal grief and share personal experiences of loss if they choose to support witnessing and being witnessed as the medicine for grief

“I can't say enough about Grief Stories. Willow and Tracy created a deeply respectful safe and exploratory environment to delve into our stories we tell ourselves about loss. The beautiful companion journal allowed me to deepen my journey between classes. The journal is informative bursting with activities, prompts and beautiful poetry. I will return to it. For years to come.”

“This course was most remarkable! The time spent with the lovely facilitators, Tracy and Willow, as well as with the beautiful participants that they attracted per our weekly circle, always left me saturated with so much love and so much gratitude ... I am deeply grateful for having 'found' these two beautiful sisters, and in turn this 'Grief Stories' sharing they've created! ”

Nancy

“I chose Grief Stories so I could shine a light on my grief. By allowing my darkness to be witnessed, my heart has slowly started to open again. I am on a healthy path to healing. Deep gratitude goes out to Tracy and Willow for holding space, facilitating the Monday night gatherings, and for putting together a beautiful journal that I will keep coming back to time and again. Thank you for normalizing this important topic, Grief—one that will inevitably touch us all.”

Suzanne

“As a facilitator with two decades of experience in 1:1 and group training, I can confidently say that this program has profoundly transformed me. The insights and growth I experienced during the training were truly eye-opening, leaving a lasting impact on both my personal journey through grief and my role as a teacher and facilitator. From the moment I stepped into the first day, I was not only engaged but also fulfilled in ways I never anticipated. If you're looking to deepen your own understanding of grief or to better support others in their journeys, I wholeheartedly recommend the Grief Well Training. It’s a life-changing experience that cracked my heart open!”

Participants will be guided to increase their grief competency by choosing prompts, kinship practices, and grief rituals to engage with in between the live sessions. The Grief Stories Kinship journal acknowledges that grief affects us physically, cognitively, socially, and spiritually. To support this notion, this journal includes poetry, quotes, kinship practices, grief rituals, herbal supports, and writing prompts. There is ample space for reflections and expression of the experience of loss. The journal can be purchased on Amazon ($50.00 CAD) or directly through The Grief Well. For direct shipment or to get a digital copy of the journal ($35.00 CAD) send us a message to [email protected].
