Tracy Chalmers

End-of-life Doula & Co-founder of The Grief Well

Tracy is a compassionate guide in the realm of grief, offering her wisdom and support to those seeking solace in their experience.

At The Grief Well, we believe:

That you are the expert in your grief experience and tending to your grief effectively asks you to tune into your innate wisdom. This requires a slower pace and listening inward. That slowing down and tuning into what is arising from moment to moment will guide you to appropriate connection and expression of your grief. The way to best care for yourself in the face of loss will be revealed. That by sharing your grief you don't become more sad, rather you begin to see yourselves in the experience of others. This recognition serves to normalize the grief experience and also communicates to others that they are not alone. That through connecting with your grief and sharing it with others when appropriate you can be witnessed in your grief - you can be seen, you can be heard, and you can open up to the care of others. This witnessing is the medicine for grief. Most grief can be tended to by listening inward and sharing grief with trusted others. If your grief gets complicated and you feel overwhelmed and stuck in your experience of loss, connecting with a mental health care professional is recommended.

We hope to see you there!
